Legend:

According to legend, this area is known for ghostly lights most often seen moving up and down Lucas Bay Road late at night.

Witnesses have reported that the light will chase them in their cars.  Others have reported electrical problems when the light comes near their vehicle and some have reported hearing a baby crying.

Any actual validity to these legends is undetermined at this time.  Anyone with further information regarding the Lucas Bay light are urged to contact Orion Investigations.  Also, if you have your own experience to report, please contact us.

Initial Impressions:

·         The area in question is a dirt road, most photographic evidence will be worthless due to dust.

·         Area has a creepy vibe and is surrounded on both sides by trees.

·         There are houses about ½ mile from where our car was parked, just beyond a bend in the road.  It’s possible that the lights being reported are house lights that are being mistaken for something else

·         While investigating felt a cold spot but this was no corroborated by thermometer.  Temperature stayed consistent during the course of the investigation

·         No  anomalous EMF readings

·         Initial EVP review: sounds of nature any nothing anomalous

·         Initial Video review:  Nothing

·         Initial Photographic evidence: a few small orbs that are most likely dust

Final Thoughts:

The legend of the Lucas Bay light is interesting, but after an initial investigation, I don’t feel that this is anything more than just legend.

However, a follow up investigation is planned to finalize opinions on this area.
