Introduction

Shadow people (Shadow ghosts) are an enigma in the paranormal field.  While there is evidence to indicate that they have been photographed, to the best of my knowledge, researchers have not been able to substantiate reports of encounters with shadow people by other scientific means (through EVP, or anomalous EMF readings).  Because these beings appear as dark forms, occasionally as black mists or vapor, some investigators or researchers may feel that these entities are demonic in some way.  However, evidence does not seem to suggest this.  Witness reports do not seem to support the theory that shadow people are malevolent in any way.  Much more research needs to be conducted into the nature of shadow people before strong theories about their possible nature are created.

Shadow People

Most encounters with these types of entities occur in the evening hours, also witnesses have reported only seeing shadow people out of the corner of their eye and they appear to leave as soon as they realize that they have been spotted.  This would seem to indicate that they do not want to be seen.   Again, this would seem to indicate that shadow people may be some form of advanced being that are visiting earth and observing our normal day to day activities.  It would seem that these entities have no desire to interact with witnesses. 

It is interesting to note that witnesses have reported that while shadow people appear human in size and shape they do not have any sort of discernible facial features.   Some have appeared wearing hats or hoods while others have not. 

Conclusion

More research needs to be conducted into the nature of shadow people before we can even begin to understand, how, why and from where these beings come.  At this point I feel safe in saying that based on the nature of witness interactions, shadow people are not a normal part of haunting activity.
